Sports Betting at 789vip
Sports betting has always been part of how Filipinos engage with the games they love. Whether it's following the PBA season from Manila, watching a boxing match live in Cebu, or tracking football results with friends in Davao — there's a natural connection between sport and the excitement of having something on the line. 789vip is built on that idea.
The platform offers a dedicated sports betting section covering a wide range of local and international events. You fund your account in Philippine Peso, place your bets, and any winnings come back to you in PHP — no currency conversion, no added friction from exchange rates. For Filipino players, that simplicity matters.
The interface is clean and designed to work well on both desktop and mobile. Whether you're placing a bet on your phone before a game or settling in at home for a live match, the experience stays consistent.
Sports You Can Bet On
789vip covers a strong mix of sports that Filipino players actually follow and care about:
Basketball is naturally the biggest category for Filipino bettors. PBA games are covered throughout the season, and NBA coverage means you can also bet on your favourite American teams and players. International football is equally well-represented — from the English Premier League to the UEFA Champions League, the main competitions are available throughout their respective seasons.
Esports has grown into one of the most-followed categories among younger Filipino players. Mobile Legends is particularly popular here, and 789vip recognises that by including major esports tournaments in its betting markets.
Types of Bets Available
789vip supports several common bet formats so you can choose the style that suits how you watch and follow sport:
Moneyline / Win Bet
The most straightforward bet — you pick which team or player wins the match. No spread, no conditions. Just pick the winner.
Point Spread
Popular in basketball and football betting. You bet on a team to win by a certain margin, or to lose by less than the spread. Balances the odds between mismatched sides.
Over / Under (Totals)
You predict whether the total combined score of a match will be over or under a number set by the platform. Works well for high-scoring games like basketball.
Parlay / Accumulator
Combine multiple bets into one. All selections need to win for a payout, but the potential returns are higher than single bets. Higher risk, higher reward.
Live / In-Play Betting
Place bets while the game is happening. Odds update in real time based on the match situation. Great for players who watch games closely and react to the action.
Futures / Outrights
Bet on the winner of a tournament or league before it starts. PBA Philippine Cup champion, Premier League title winner — these markets open well ahead of the final result.
Understanding Odds at 789vip
Odds tell you two things: how likely an outcome is considered to be, and how much you stand to win relative to your stake. At 789vip, odds are displayed in a format that's easy to read, and your potential payout is calculated automatically when you enter a bet amount.
Here's a simplified breakdown of common odds formats you might encounter:
| Format | Example | What It Means | Common In |
|---|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 2.50 | Multiply stake × 2.50 for total return | Most online sportsbooks |
| American / Moneyline | +150 / -200 | +150 = win ₱150 per ₱100 stake; -200 = stake ₱200 to win ₱100 | Basketball, NFL |
| Fractional | 3/2 | Win ₱3 for every ₱2 staked | Horse racing, UK markets |
| Hong Kong | 1.50 | Win ₱1.50 profit per ₱1 staked | Asian betting markets |
The bet slip in your account shows the potential payout clearly before you confirm any wager, so there are no surprises when it comes to what you could win or lose on a given bet.

Betting on Mobile
A lot of Filipino players follow sports on the go — checking scores between classes, watching a game during commute hours, or catching up on results before calling it a night. 789vip is built to work smoothly on mobile browsers, and the platform app is available for download if you prefer a dedicated experience.
The mobile version keeps the same core functionality as the desktop site: full access to betting markets, live in-play odds, your bet slip, account balance, and withdrawal options. Everything is accessible without needing to switch to a larger screen.
You can download the app from the Download page. It's available for Android and optimised for Philippine network conditions.

Philippine Sports — At the Heart of the Betting Experience
Sports betting in the Philippines isn't just about international fixtures. The PBA is the most-watched local league, and 789vip ensures that Philippine Basketball Association games are covered throughout the season — from the Philippine Cup to the Commissioner's Cup and the Governors' Cup.
Philippine volleyball has grown significantly in recent years with the PVL (Premier Volleyball League) attracting strong local followings. Volleyball betting markets at 789vip reflect that growing interest.
Boxing has always had a special place here — the Philippines has produced multiple world champions over the decades, and major bouts featuring Filipino fighters draw massive interest from bettors nationwide. When big fights are scheduled, 789vip's boxing markets tend to be among the most active on the platform.
Esports is the fastest-growing betting category among younger players. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is followed like a traditional sport in many parts of the country, and major tournaments like the MPL Philippines season attract both viewers and bettors in large numbers.
